トラバーチンの表面にみられる気泡膜．温泉水から脱ガスした二酸化炭素の気泡の周囲で，膜状の方解石が沈殿したもの．上には水面で沈殿した薄膜 (paper-thin raft; Guo and Riding, 1999）がみられる．北海道長万部町二股温泉．
